Offline | Oil Leak MINI One 2004 model Hi, I have just bought the "better half" a late 2004 MINI One for her birthday and she is loving it. One minor annoyance is that it appears to have a minor engine oil leak. When I checked the car over before purchasing it I hoped it was just oil spilt whilst topping up. Also it was considerably overfilled - a good half inch over the max mark when cold. I have now drained out the excess oil and jet washed the underside of the engine etc and so far no drips. However there does appear to be a slight dampness forming on the bottom of some of the sump bolts, but there is nowhere obvious that it is coming from. Any ideas where I should be looking? Cheers Danny |
