a couple of lights on my ........ and a leak

my speedo wont turn off

The Emissions light and the DSC light turn are constantly on(both yellow), they just decided to come on yesterday .....just remembered that the battery turns on also (red)

Also the exhaust is popping alot more than usual and the car doesnt idle well . The revs have now started to drop right down and the cars shuts off ,then the EML and engine OIL light turn on(both red). I just switch it back on and it'll be fine until the revs drop again i.e. at traffic lights

Also noticed that while on the motor way and lets say in 3rd gear and i'm at 5000rpm and take my foot off the accelerator the car jerks, like the engine break over works

DSC seems to still work while the light is on

any ideas??

cheers
btw its booked into dealers early next week

Loose connection or a wire earthing maybe??

I'm sure the ECU and BC1 fault codes will shed some light for the dealer

dont think its brake fluid, its more of a water based substance,

Is there some fluid in the lsd?

The LSD uses the gearbox oil.

Sounds like water from the cooling system........

Sounds like a bad battery to me. I would check it and also read the obdII codes.

Not sure but it could be water leaking and short circuiting your body control module as everything seem to go haywire. Was it raining before this happened?

Try this... disconnect your batteries for a good few hours and allow the system to reset (this also allows the residue water to dry up). While this will work, you need to find out what exactly happened to prevent further damage to the body control module.

My 2 cents...

The car has no fuel pressure sensor, it was likely the manifold absolute pressure sensor, which would cause the problems you have in that it sets mixture. There is a fuel pressure regulator on the injector rail. A problem with this could also affect idling and running but it is not a sensor.
