I do love abit of dealer bashing, it makes us love all those Mini sooo much more.

You know, even cars costing many hundreds of thousands of pounds are not supplied as 'perfect'. To be perfectly frank with you, I think your expectations thus far have been unreasonable. In the end, if you cannot accept 'anything less than perfect', then you will always be disappointed - and you are setting yourself up for an unhappy existence.

Perhaps you would benefit from being slightly more forgiving - just a thought.

I paid 20k for my brand new Cooper D, ive owned it 8 weeks now. In that time its been back in the workshop 7 times, ive been without it for 7 full days and had 4 courtesy cars while its been being sorted.

You've noticed a problem 2 years down the line, and your not happy with what the dealer is offering?! How do they know that youve not had a new graphic in that time and that it wasnt a different decal fitter that did it?! Yet they are still offering a respray!

Troughout the years I've learned to stay away from Alfa's, but saying that, no doubt the will have improved over the years since the old days

As others mentioned, I think there was more to this than just the roof issue. However, you have to be happy with what you are driving so good luck and enjoy.
