I have a 2005 Mini Cooper S and am having a horrible time with the glove box and it creaking. Whenver I drive over any bump in the road or around a corner, the glove box makes a rather loud creaking noise. I have tried the glove box full, empty, unlocked, locked and it makes no difference. I can even press gently against the glove box when it is closed and it creaks rather loudly in what sounds like the lower half of the glove box door. Has anyone had a similar problem and come up with a solution? Anyone have any thoughts for how to fix it? Its driving me crazy.

Never had the poblem sorry, what about WD40 on the hinges??????
