| MINI2 Regular | Service Interval Reset Right guys I have searched and printed out numerous guides on how to reset the service interval indicator all without success. I was wondering if there is a guide specific to a MINI Cooper 2003. I have tried loads of different guides and never get as I have been told 51A or 15A when I hold the reset button after turning to ignition position 1. I had a full service on my car last week and my indicator is now reading -850 miles overdue!! If anyone can help it would be much appreciated!! Cheers |

Online | As far as I'm aware the procedure is as follows: 1) Press and hold the trip button (trip button is black button on speedo) 2) Insert key and turn to position 1 3) Watch for RESET to appear 4) Release the button, then press & hold it again 5) Wait for the RESET to flash 6) Release the button, and then press & release (once only) 7) Service interval should then be reset to next interval ![]() |

Offline | This is the sequence that I use, it's always worked for me, the only change is that for some reason I don't have a brake fluid counter on my car and that option in step 5 is not available:1. Press reset knob and milage is shown and keep pressed. 2. Switch on ignition till 1st position. 3. Display will show 1_Test, keep on pressing reset button till it shows 51A and milage. 4. Release reset knob. 5. By pressing the knob briefly you will change between oil service and brake fluid. 6. Choose the one you want to reset and keep reset knob till display shows Rst. 7. Release knob and press again to reset the counter |
