ok i done search on here and got few answer and found out that the min whine is normal but how loud is everyones and is that a sign its going to die on me

like when at speed is fine but low speed its loud whine

sry if this gets asked week in week out lol

At low speeds it is normal, especially at full lock lol

Whining is normal

like loud yea wudnt attempt full lock lol , its like a 1900 american police car lolif u turn left to right lol

is there a meet or anything soon as i see your from NI wud love to hear the other minis whine as im paranoid atm lol

Don't worry the whine is normal, especially on earlier MINIs and is not necessarily an indication of a failing PS pump motor.
Most people (including myself) have grown to like it as part of the MINIs distinctive character ! I have even heard a few owners complain after having a later new replacement pump fitted that it was too quiet !!

If you can make it to the London to Brighton Mini Run next Sunday you will hear quite a few other MINIs whining amongst the classics.

Like everyone else has said, the whine is perfectly normal.

yea also when turning the wheels when not moving or slow it seems to struggle/jutters dunno if this is cause car has aftermarket wheels
