Offline | Engine Noise, 02 Cooper I recently had my clutch, release bearings and gearbox replaced as they were knackered (67k miles, layshaft problems). Prior to getting my gearbox sorted I had a Jetex exhaust put on it, sounds fantastic, noisey as hell. However since getting my gearbox sorted, I am experiencing a lot more engine noise coming from my footwells. Yes the noise of the crap gearbox has gone, and I have no gearbox noise whatsoever, but the noise from the footwells is fairly noise. I'm not sure if this is exhaust related, bearing in mind I had the front silencer removed too, any suggestions?? |
