I am back, I have missed looking at MINI2 . Well I have had my faults fixed. After the flat battery in December last year(new CD player fitted), Airbag Light on in February(new pre-tensioner fitted), 1st recall in June(gear select bracket fitted), 2nd recall in July(new BC01 module fitted) and steering rack knocking in September(New brushed on steering rack). After having 5 days of work to get my MINI sorted I wrote to MINI(UK) to complain. I mentioned the inconvenience of to take days off etc etc and 5 days later(today) I had a call from BMW manager of customer service. He was very apologetic and offered me an extra 12 months parts and labour warranty on top of the 3 years P&L warranty (I requested a extra 24 months in the letter, thinking they would only give me 6 or 12 months!!). I happy, I love the car but the problems were a pain , it does pay to complain
