Clattering trans in MCS

Anyone have this problem?

I just noticed that when I start the car and leave slowly in 1st gear, the trans makes a clattering or rattling sound for about a second. This is after the car is fully engaged in 1st gear and it seems to be only when the car is started up. I can drive the car, let it clatter in 1st gear, turn off the engine, start it up again and it will make the clattering sound.

I don't here the 1st gear thing- but do notice the throw out bearing rattle/noise when letting and having the clutch out in neutral at idle. Seems to do it more when cold.
Maybe the same sound?

ezrally - I have the same noise. I recently changed my trans fluid (found it was almost 0.5 qts low) and noticed that it is much quieter.

Thanks for your info. Guess I will check & change it. Seems more than one S has been low 1/2 qt.
What did you put in- MT 90 Redline?

Couldn't find Redline MT-90 so I used Mobil 1 synthetic (75W90). Have since ordered some Redline and will use it next time I change the trans fluid.
