Sat Nav - 10 yard delay

I am very impressed with my Sat Nav (UK version), but it seems to be about 10 yards behind all the time. When approaching a number of left junctions I have a habit of missing the turn I need and turning at the next (wrong) one.

Am I just driving too fast or does it need adjusting?

Anyone else have this problem?

S collected...as promised at 12:00 on 29 Oct - really getting to know it now - great car - DS (black roof), full leather, sunroof, full Chilli and most of the other bits...got a bit carried away at the dealership!!!

I have the Sat Nav on my 01 BMW and it's at least 10 yards behind as well. If they're using the same components (CD based) I would expect the response to be the same.

Thanks NYCguy...not the response I was hoping for, but perhaps good to know that that's the way it is.

You have a good selection of cars to choose from each day....What does the OTS stand for re your E-Type?

Thanks. OTS means it's a convertible with fabric top. Nobody really know how the acronym got started. Some say its Open Top Sedan. Unfortunately, the e-type is not a practical daily driver but when the weather is nice, there's nothing like it.

EDIT:

OTS = Open Two Seater
