Did anyone ever find a fix for this fault?

Is the whistle you refer to a ventilation whistle? If so my cooper with climate control has just been returned whistle free. There was a problem with one of the flaps in the passenger side vent, even though the whistle sounded like it was coming from the centre vent.

Apologies if its another whistle you refer to!!

Regards
Christopher

No apologies necessary Chris.

That's the exact same whistle. Cheers

Excellent. Well Howarths in Newcastle under Lyme have cured the problem. Had to have the car for two days but its well worth it to get rid of the whistle. Interestingly they have dealt with a few other Minis with the same problem so its obviously not an uncommon complaint. Hope you can get your dealer to do the same.

Apparently they replaced one of the flaps in the passenger side vent which didn't can't fit properly. As the car was getting warmer the plastic expanded which filled the gap left which caused the whistle to die down.

If needs be I can give you Howarths service email and your dealer can email them. If thats of any help?

Regards
