Offline | help i am hoping that you can help i am a lpg fitter in bristol and have recently done a conversion to gas on a mcs, all went well apart form the fact that the garage say that because of us water is leaking into the car and has killed the auxillaries computer. acording to this user group many people have had similar problems, but they are not on gas. with even the possibility of a recall for this. if you think you can help with a letter fax or email to say you have had something similar or if you have a recall letter.then i will be happy to pay your expencesfor you trouble regards dominic hawkins info@avonautogas.co.uk 155 west st, bedminster bristol bs3 3pn fax 0117 9537074 dominic hawkins |

Offline | I'm not sure what you mean by "auxillaries computer" but if it is the same as the Body Control computer (BC1 or BC-1), please do a Search and you'll see that quite a few MINI owners have had water damage to that piece of gear. On newer MINIs there is now some sort of water shield over the BC-1 fitted at the factory. + 2002 MINI Cooper S - Dark Silver / White roof, Sport, Premium, Lapis blue leather + 1965 Mini Traveller - Tartan Red / White roof, 1275, Cooper S discs, fully restored/renewed |
