Offline | Is Your Mini Fault/Problem Free? I have just recieved my money back after 6 weeks of having a very faulty Mini Cooper. I read all over the site about various faults. Has anybody actually had NO faults since they bought their car?! |

Offline | Had my MINI one for 2 months now and - touch wood - have had nothing go wrong with it. Well actually the little red reflector in the drivers door fell off, but I just clipped it straight back on.....! Probably tempting fate by posting this! ![]() |

| MINI2 Master | This is a silly poll so I have not participated. Go to any car board and post this poll and see what results you get. Industry averages for the best cars in the world are more than one problem per car on average. Go check the JD Power web site if you want to know. Other more useful polls have been posted in the past asking how many problems people have had and how many tries it took to fix them. Much more useful numbers, given that the average car in the industry has at least one problem. I'm sorry you had such trouble with your Cooper but I'm glad you got your money back. No need to gloat. | MINI2 Regular | I'm going to have to second that. My car ate my cd, and I have had a few rattles that I went ahead and fixed myself, its a car, I expect issues. Now WHEN I get my 10 million dollar Learjet ordered I expect a flawless machine! Cheers, Neil 2002 MCS "Mouse" --"It's so cute" And Chicks dig it ![]() |

Offline | Harry If the poll was that silly then why bother posting a reply at all? Or is that a terribly English Attitude. I was considering whether to get another Cooper which was the reason for the Poll.....not to 'gloat' as you put it. I have owned 11 cars from new and most of them have been completely fault free within the first year of ownership which doesn't really quite agree with your 'industry statistics'. Most of the users comments on this site have been helpful and friendly. Except yours. |

Offline | Re: Re: Is Your Mini Fault/Problem Free? It wasn't do much 'big' faults as the dealers inability to fix them. From experience I beieve if a dealer can't fix the same problem/s after a couple of attempts then the fault is unrectifiable. I took my car to the dealer 5 times and the inconvenience/ciost of doing so was not acceptable.
