Rattles & Rough Ride anyone??

Morning fellow Mini'ers,

Just wondering how many of you find the Mini rattles more than you would like it to and have found the dealer to less than perfect when trying to figure out the rattles

Also how many of you would say the Mini has a "rougher ride" than your previous car especially over bumps, ruts and the sort.

Just a survey to see if mines faulted or if it's life in The Mini

Thanks
Randy

Hi

My Mini is a month old, and I am just accepting its rattles and rough ride. I have taken it in to the dealer for a faint rustling driver's side noise, lurching, and mysteriously flashing battery warning indicator. The dealer was very pleasant and I think did his best, but didn't solve any of the problems. The noise is still there, and he did not seem to know what I was talking about when I mentioned software upgrades to my CVT system. Fortunately, the warning indicator stopped flashing.

The Mini is still a great car and very fun to drive. Now that the novelty is slightly worn off, I alternate between using the Mini and my other car - a 1999 Audi A4. The A4 is certainly my easier on my behind, esp. for long trips.
