I have spoken to several members of our local MINIOKI.com club here in Cincinnati (OH-usa) about a commonly experienced niggling little annoying fairly persistent rattlybuzz in the top front area of the sunroof of my mcs. I have had 4 fixes from CincyMini, and after each, given a few days of regular driving (admittedly now it is extremely cold-is that a factor???) back comes the little bugger. Is this a miniwide miniproblem, or should i just turn up the sound on the cd and "fergitabutit!" What say ye?
Of course apart from that I am in MiniHeaven!

Although I have not yet experienced this (touch wood), this is a well-known complaint and apparently an easy fix. Just run a search on this site for sunroof rattle and the related thread(s) will come up with pictures and everything. Basically, it involves placing two small pieces of self-stick foam tape to the area making contact (you can see the contact marks on the plastic even on mine). Hope that helps.
