is there an easy way to work out what software version is on the car? Without going to the dealer (e.g. test diagnostics)

Just wondering?

Thanks, but doesn't appear to help. I read this before posting the first message, but i can't see any ref to the software version e.g CD #32.1 etc.

MAybe i'm just blind.

I thought test 1.5 shows Cluster H/W & S/W

Maybe you're looking for something different.

Only the dealer has the diagnostic program and tools needed to view the engine calibration software information currently installed in your car's DME module.
