Rear Wash/Wipe Problem

Had an interesting problem a few weeks ago. It was raining, the front wipers were on intermittent. The rear screen was covered, so I turned the wipers on. Three wipes, as per normal. Minute or so later, the view from the back was obscured. Tried the wipers - they were already on. The normal three wipes from the front to one from the back wasn't happening. The only way I could get the rear wiper to stay on was to turn the fronts off! Not very helpful! Turning the engine off at the first oppurtunity (outside lane of M6, normal car-park conditions) and then re-starting did the trick - wipers working properly.

The dealer was unable to find any record of a problem, and they have been fine since. Anyone else had a similar problem, or know of a cause/fix?

Cheers,
Ant

I haven't noticed this problem but it sounds like it's fixed now.
