Offline | Hi, I'm having a really annoying problem with my MC. I just had the engine software updated (not sure which version to, though...) against the cold-revs dipping problem, and since then, I get a massive lurch or stutter when accelerating out of corners, or whenever the DSC cuts in, even in a straight line. I don't know if this is a similar problem to the 'go-stutter-go' problem of MCS's. Has anyone else had this problem, and does anyone know what the cure is? Please help, it's really bothering me. 2002 Mini Cooper 1979 Ford Mustang 2.3 Ghia BRG Cooper with white roof, 16"alloys, auto a/c, sunroof, seat heaters, sport suspension, shorty aerial |

Offline | Go stutter go go go, oh if only to get rid of this (MCS owner here). My kid brother drives a MC and has no such problem. He got to drive mine this weekend and couldn't get over how much it p@@@S@d him off! The Technospirit EB/B MINI Cooper S |

Offline | I went by my dealer today to ask about this acceleration lurch problem. Of course, the car didn't do it when the mini tech tried the car. But he did say that it was really lacking in performance (which I hadn't really noticed), and that something is definitely wrong. The car is going in in 2 weeks to have this investigated. Will keep you posted. 2002 Mini Cooper 1979 Ford Mustang 2.3 Ghia BRG Cooper with white roof, 16"alloys, auto a/c, sunroof, seat heaters, sport suspension, shorty aerial |
