Another Windscreen cracked here

Im not happy, I think I have the record in knowed faults in my MINI. I believe Im in the way to have a LEMON MINI.

I discovered de cracked last night, a few hours after I clean the windscreen to get my MINI ready for a little trip.

Im sure its a stress or mountage failure. No chips around the affected section, and the cracked wasn't there last time I left the car in the garage.

The affected section is in the bottom left corner, starts on the corner (may be below the piece cover the 'A' pilar) and finished at 3 or 4 cm's far away of the MINI logo.

In addition to this fault I have <<some>> more:

Steering click (4 times in to resolve, finally resolved)

Squeaky seats (? times in to resolve, No resolved)

Gear linkage broken (1 time alone in a highway with my car in fifth gear and without possibility of change... resolved)

DSC problems (4 times in, this wednesdays in for change the steering column sensor...no resolved yet)

Airbag Problem (2 times in to resolve, finally resolved)

boot and door very loud noises (? times in to resolved, finally I resolved the problem thanks to MINI2.com)

Very Loud noise when autoaircon is on and I hearing a CD from the cd-charger (not resolved, they didnt find anything)

Reverse/First gear problem (sometimes Im unabled to insert first or reversed, not resolved)

If I change from first to second at high rev (6000 rpm) the gearbox ALWAYS SCRACHT.

Im seriously thinking to write to BMW and MINI to says all my problems. I dont want a new car (or yes...?) But Im afraid this still continues when I have no garantee...

I have had all the same problems as you, and am just about to put my case forward to bmw/mini.

I can sympothise with all that you have said, and more.

Advices please Liquid Yellow MINI Cooper with white roof, Chilli Pack, Full black leather upgrade, 17" 8 S-spoke Rims with Runflats, DSC, Climate Control, Radio Boost with CD Charger, Factory Alarm... and all the switches
