My front wiper blades need replace and i went to my dealer this morning to have problem sort plus to get some blades but the deal said that they are on back order and told me to come back in a next week normally that would be fine but i was told that back in march 03.

Can any one tell me if i have to use the bmw blades or can i just go halfords/motor spares shop?

Plus BMW Blades cost £17.00(Thats alot)

I put Halfords Blades on, with no problem.

I have seen a new style of wiper used on the new VW range which is a blade without all the extra bits which are good. I wonder if BMW will follow
