Question rearview mirror vs. vibration

My rearview mirror is affected by vibration where I can't see what's going on behind me clearly. The mirror vibration comes and goes and is noticeable about 50% of the time while driving. If I hold onto the mirror, the vibration stops until I let go. Is this normal or should I add this to my ever-growing list of problems to present to the dealer on my next visit? I have the auto-dimming (auto-dipping) mirror if that makes a difference.

Do you have the standard mirror or the one with the auto self dimming feature?

I agree, that is not normal but then again it could be that the mirror is not very well adjusted into its supporting post.

It's the auto-dimming mirror.

The attachment to the mounting post feels rock solid.

I need to take the car in anyway so I'll let the dealer figure it out now that I know it's not supposed to be like this.
