Vibrating air pipe on lefthand side of engine cover

My MCS has developed a vibration within an air pipe connected to the top lefthand side of engine!

Has anyone else had this fault or knows what it could be?

cheers

engine breather hose

Just an update on vibration noise!

I've sourced the noise to a breather hose connected to the leftside of rocker cover.
Hose has a 90 degree bend which has closed-up blocking airflow.

New hose required!

Has anyone else had this fault?

Rgds

Well I had a 'breather hose' replaced last week, to cure the hooting/harmonica on deccelleration - Could well be the same thing.

Yes, the hose was replaced under warranty and the noises happily stopped!

The hose should be replaced under warrenty. Not only does the noise come from the hose itself but i know of a problem where i has been the oil breather valve.

If you listen carfully, then you will be bale to hear a slight ( ticking ) noise. The only way i can describe it.

This part is also usually changed. I had mine changed and the nose stopped.
Just speak to the dealer and they should sort you out.

Hope this helps

I have a strange high pitched ringing noise at certain RPM's. Could someone take a digital photo of the suspect hose and post?

thanks!
