Anybody suffered from a squeaky accelerator before or have I developed a new and exciting thing to moan to the dealer about?

Mine did it when the car was new. It went away on it's own.

Had this one too! an ickle squirt of WD40 soon got rid of it!

Not sure if I'd recommend greasing it as it's an electronic thingy

a wee squirt may be OK though

I find that just standing on the pedal a bit harder tends to drown it out...

Squirted the hinge part at the bottom of the pedal and a very tiny squirrt on the back at the plunger part - not too much here though due the sensor.

Not had a peep or squeak since.
