The "Double" pull to open the drivers' side door no longer works....Having to use remote or manually lift the post....Easy fix or a trip to the Dealer required?

The "double pull" is a trip to the dealer. They have to access the ECU and make the change.

But, it sounds as though you have a different problem. Do I read correctly that the inside handle won't open the door? Sounds like a trip to the dealer.

I'm confused by this one. The double pull to open the door is a mechanical action. Nothing electronic involved as far as I know.

Also Kiwiracer, how can you pull the post up? The post should drop below the level of the door if it's locked. Unless the cars are different over there.

Definitely sounds like a trip to the dealer...

This is only affecting the drivers side.One pull & the knob comes up but not fully disengaging the lock.Works fine with remote or interior central locking toggle............Guess something went in the handle mechanism.
