can hear it when stationary and when moving. Any ideas on what it could be? its not loud, but loud enough to be irritating. It also comes when i take the foot off the accelerator pedal.

KJ - I had this problem for a week until I had a breather pipe replaced. I have the cooper S Works. It is very annoying and gets worse - sounds like the car is crying on the overrun.

I also had this problem and it was found to be a belt tensioner that had to be replaced.

Mine was the same - It was the breather pipe. Took a couple of weeks for Eastern to get it in though,
