Offline | I had terrible noise in third - I brought it back and MINI replaced my transmission. In fact my transmission has been replaced twice under warranty. Take the car to the dealership and take them for a drive - I've also had the clutch replaced twice - No it's not bad driving!! I've just had a challenging car! At first they thought it was bushings in my shifter that needed to be replaced but when the noise didn't go away, they then replaced the transmission. |

Offline | Doesn't mean it doesn't suck though. Sounds like cheap crap when you shift gears. The odd things is it doesn't do it every time. My best example is: After I put in my short shifter it was dead silent for at least 20-30 1st to 2nd shifts |
