"Quality Enhancement" Letter, Rear Brake Line...

Searched, but couldn't find a note of this.

July '03 build MINI Cooper S (RHD).

"Quality checks at the factory ahve revealed that it is possible that on some vehicles, the rear right hand brake line may become unclipped from the rear axle support retaining clip. The brake line can then lie against the threaded bolt of the sear belt when under stress.

We would like to ensure that your MINI is in perfoct order and check the brake line...."

Think I'll give them a call on Monday!

Anyone else had this already? Have I missed a previous discussion?

I have a July '03 build, but its LHD. So, never got a letter. But don't understand what the front has to do with where cables from center console to the back would be routed.

Early is on time; On time is late.
