Recently had a problem with the xenons and somehow the mechanics managed to fix the xenons and screw up the alarm activation / remote locking. After fixing the alarn/remote problem the settings on the alarm have now changed. Before it flashed once on locking and not at all on unlocking. Now it flashes twice on locking and once on unlocking. I really do not want it set up like that. I want no attention at all drawn to the fact that I've just unlocked my car. However on the software that the dealer has there is no option for having the alarm set the way the car was when it left the factory. Can anybody help? Any ideas what to tell the dealer he should be looking for? MINIs are pretty new here in Poland (less than 100 sold) so the dealers don't have much experience working on them yet....

Interesting... I thought they cant program the alarm to blink when unlocking... sorry I cant help there...

I think the 2004 software blinks when unlocking...it was one of the features that caught my eye when people were discussing the upcoming features. I was hoping the 2003's can get upgraded to do that and apparently, maybe they can.
