I check already in FAULTS & FIXES but I did not found anything similar,i guess,anyway this is my problem: around 5.000RPM in 2nd gear in acceletion or in deceleration I can clearly ear like a rattle noise caming from the engine,it seems like it comes from the exaust.nobody had the same problem??Thanks

It's probably the exhaust heat shield... mine did this yesterday. Don't worry it's easy to sort out....

Open the bonnet and have a look.... it's the silver aluminium foil thing under the brake fluid and power steering reservoirs above the exhaust manifold.

Give it a tap with your fingers. If it just makes a hollow noise, sort of like a drum it's probably ok.
Mine was hitting something underneath and when you tapped it, it hit something else making a metallic clank sound.
I fiddled about and bent it a little.... no metallic noise when you tap it... and silence when you accelerate;before there was a rasping, zinging sound on acceleration, both at the top end and when pulling away, a bit like having a hole in the exhaust.... now all cured.

You might also want to check that its bolted in. Mine was never screwed in and has been bouncing off of everything it can.

the reason of the rattle was a cable near the battery box it was banging into it,thanks to everybody that reply to my helping question.CHEERS!
