Offline | Software Version 37 is out I just spoke with MINI USA Customer Service about Version 37. I specifically wanted to know if Version 37 was issued to address the yo-yo problem experienced by many "S" owners. MINI told me that Version 37 IS NOT meant to fix the yo-yo. They said that a yo-yo fix is being actively persued and should be available "soon" ![]() Hindsight is 20-20, I forgot to ask what Version 37 is really for, does anyone know? Tom 02 EB/B MCS |

Offline | Hi I had V37 loaded yesterday, the tech showed me a sheet which said it was to eliminate poor acceleration between 3,000 and 4,500 rpm i.e. the yo-yo. My stumble has gone but the yo-yo is MUCH WORSE, I would rather have kept the stumble. ![]() |

Offline | I am sure that it must be a mechanical fault, if it was software then why would only some do it. All cars with V37 should be equal software wise. I am glad you have not got it enjoy your car. |

Offline | If you live in the US and have yoyo and don't like it - I suggest you Lemon Law it. I just did mine and was awarded a refund. The Florida Lemon Law Board took the car for a drive and deemed the yoyo to be a substantial impairment to the value of the car. DS/W MCS 3/03 Awarded LEMON Status The yoyo is deemed to substantially impair the value of the car - by the FL Lemon Law. 4/14/04 In the end the LEMON squeezed itself so BMW can suck the juice. |

Offline | Good for you, more people like you will hopefully make BMW/MINI get their finger out. My MCS is in the dealer at the moment, they have assured me they will fix the yo-yo by next Tuesday or I will get a refund / replacement. V37 made my slight yo-yo unbearable. ![]() |

Offline | Also check out this thread on NAM, including the last post from Ryephile -- Tom is correct; apparently, v.37 isn't intended to help with the "yo yo" or surging problem experienced with MCS's -- that "fix" is due at the end of this month (but who knows when it will actually be out). http://www.northamericanmotoring.com...&start=375&397 ![]() Look at that little S car go!
