Red Cooper Electric window problem

My passenger side window on my 2002 MC doesn't go all the way up automatically when I flick the switch like my driver's side one does - you have to keep your finger on it. Asked dealer about it and they mumbled something about it being fine and then that only the driver's side one is meant to do go up at all the way at the flick of the switch.
Is this the case? They've also managed to create a loud squeek for me on the passenger side one for me now ... which is nice..

Oneshot up is drivers side only. Squeaks...? I've had em for as long as I can remember; worse in warm weather.

Oops, better not go back and grill 'em about it then!
Thanks a lot...

On my month old MCS auto up on the drivers side has never worked. Have not had chance to drive the 300 km to the dealer to ask for a fix though. Waiting till July when a local dealer will open.

Anyone else had a drivers auto up problem?

My driver side window sweaks too. Embarassing at the gas station! All the dealer did was clean the door seal and window glass - big deal. It actually sounds worse now. Is this a common problem? Just wonder if anyone has a DIY solution.

My sunroof rattles too.

Otherwise, only good thngs to say about my MCS.

Detergent? WD-40? I forget the chemistry involved. I think the squeaking happens because there's trace moisture trapped between the two surfaces, which detergent should get rid of. I could, of course, be utterly mistaken.

That's probably one of the plastic wind-flaps at the front not quite sitting right. I'm sure there are some fixes around here involving felt tape judiciously applied.

mine used to squeek, sometimes terribly..
I have taken to polishing the glass (outside face) when I polish the car
been using Zaino, which they say is 99.9% optically perfect, and they have not been squeeking at all.

I also have had tint film put on all the glass (except windshield) whick looks awesome
so some combination of the above seems to take the squeek away

Mine doesn't work either, but then I also didn't know that the driver's side has auto up.

Maybe it's a Canadian thing that it doesn't auto up
