Melted Clutch?

I had a strange experience today... and although it's happened before it is not as severe as these few days

since i got my car in september of 2003 i've had a strange burned clutch feeling after about half an hr of city driving.. on the highway it's no problem.. but city driving i seems to have a clutch that likes to be burned... 30 minutes into driving the clutch feels completely different.. it's gone to such a point that friction point cannot be grasped as easliy as it seems the clutch is 'sticky' dont know if anyone understands that

anyone else have this strange clutch feeling?

yeah, I've seen that, the other day I got on the hwy and was in stop & go traffic for awhile. After a bit, when I went to depress the clutch, it went to the floor so fast w/out any resistance I thought my foot was gonna go through the floorboard...

actually it's not so much no resistence.. i'ts during uptake it it occurs, it never seems to occur during when i depress it... strangely enuf it disappears after i shut off the engine for about 20 minutes...

to me.. when taking up the clutch.. that 'sticky' feeling is that when you take up the clutch.. you feel as if gears are grinding together on your foot... i had it checked twice.. once i had it relubed but still there after about 2 weeks of disappearance...

the second time they are still stumped... any other theories?
