strange things going on...

I have put about 1550 miles on my MC now. While driving two days ago, I noticed that in the morning (right after I started the car until it got up to operating temperature) there was a noise coming from under the hood (presumably) that sounded like a coffee machine (a mix between a light bubbling sound and a grinding sound)...it did this today as well. Maybe connected but maybe not, I had another issue today. I started my car after leaving it parked for a few minutes and it took the starter about twice as long to start the engine. Then, when I backed out of the spot, the car shuddered as if it would stall when I pushed the clutch back in to shift into first (and it wasn't bad clutch operation). Then, as I drove around the parking lot, the car seemed to be making a scraping noise as if the parking brake was engaged, although it wasn't. It went away after I parked and sat for a moment. Does this sound like a transmission problem? Anyone else had anything similar? Thanks.
