if i have the aircon switched on in my 03 cooper s the doors won't open when i swith the engine of, they open if the aircon isn't on can anybody help?.

sounds weird to me... have you asked the dealer to have a look???.... bit of a safety issue too!!

I`ve experienced a Similar "Fault"
Try opening the doors with the Remote Button on the Key Fob.
It happened to me when I think I must have accidentally pressed the Key Fob Lock Button when switching off the ignition.
If this still dosn`t do a Fix, .... Ever see the Film Christine ??, it could be that your car was made from Devil Metal
