Sun visors don't allign

Ok so this isn't a fault but whoever designed them should lose their job. You pull the visor down and you need to lean to the left or right to look in the vanity mirror. They really could have done a much better job on it.

Has anyone done a home made fix for this as my girlfriend wasn't impressed.

I think the sunvisors arent big enough anyway....sometimes I have to move my position to make the mirror block out the sun !!

I don't think they're any worse (or any better for that matter) than any other car I've been in or driven of a similar size.

I used to find that they slightly blocked the rear view mirror.

visors

The sunvisor sizes are diffrent on european cars to the cars produced for USA/Canada Japan and also I believe for lhd and rhd in the various euro specs.
I'm just wondering If you've had the wrong type fitted to your car.
Its worth asking your dealer to find out for you.

Just wondering - some cars have the window tinting (the solid black along the borders) go down behind the rear view mirror as dots (like on the sunroof) to help block out the sun. Does the MINI have this? I didn't notice while on my testdrive.

No. the MINI doesnt have that, though the sensor for the automatic wipers is positioned around there if it specified, I think......if it was available yet !!!.....

I mean the angle of the visors is positioned such as when you pull it down the mirror points inwards and you have to move to the left or right to look in it. It's strange that they didn't allign it correctly.
