Airbag warning light

Has anyone had problems with the airbag warning light not turning off when youve taken the standard seats out and put them back in? I assume it needs to be reset. Is there any way to get it done without paying bmw lots of money? :-/

That's usually the problem (the way it clips is not good)...

The only thing I can suggest is resetting the OBC using these instructions:

And see if that trips it over.

Otherwise, trip to the dealers I'd say.

If you disconnect the seats and then turn the key, the airbag light will stay on. The only way to reset it is at the dealer.
