Anyone have a newish Mini with the Alarm...

Isn't it meant to flash when arming and disarming..

Also is there a way to make it chirp..

Mine only seems to flash twice when arming. But doesn't flash no more when disarming...

this maybe due to the electronic being replaced and looked at so much.. not sure... just wondering if its meant to be like this...

That ones normal. Mine is the same, it's meant to be like that. It is possible for your dealer to programme in different options if you wish though.

Mine was delivered end of March '02. I get a single flash on locking (arming) and no flash on unlocking (disarming). No 'plips' at all. Then again, as long as I know it's working, I don't care whether ther's visual/aural confirmation or not.
