P1689 error ?

I got the SES/EML light yesterday and dropped into limp mode. I shut the engine off and restarted and it seems to be driving fine now. The SES light went off after the 3rd start so now I have no problem lights on.

I went by Autozone and they read the code as a P1689 and I searched here (didn't find anything) but on NAM I found that it means:

P1689 - Electronic Throttle Control Monitor level 2/3 torque calculation error.

So what does that mean? Does it need to go to the dealer or can I have Autozone clear the code and not worry about it unless it happens again.

FWIW, I had hit the rev limiter the night before, but when I got the lights the next day I had just shifted at 6K in first and only hit around 5K when everything went bonkers.

Doesn't sound like something you want to reset and forget about to me.
