Offline | Rejecting twice Anybody on here rejected a MINI which was supplied as a replacement for a previously faulty MINI? If so was it easier or harder the second time around? Did you get a full refund after the 2nd rejection? If you haven't but have relevant info please post... Cheers, Altern8 |

Offline | Sorry not much help here. Technically I dont suppose we rejected our second car, as we never really owned it. That is the dealer got a broadside before we signed. They then decided that MINI (3) will be ordered. Still waiting by the way. At this rate our MINI (1) will be a year old when MINi (3) arrives. So far 7 months 'free' motoring ![]() - Red/White Cooper, Silver wheels, Climate Control, Chili Pack, heated mirrors, CD Boost, Alarm, Heated seats, Factory Tint Windows. Now gone (but not forgotten) |

Offline | The detail in full... 1st MINI - September build. Faults = 8 (including left pull, fuel gauge, seats, rattles). Repairs attempted = 3 Rejected in January and replacement ordered. 2nd MINI - March Build Faults = 13 (Left pull, steering pump, steering click, windows not dropping, seats, various rattles). I have written to my dealer saying that I do not want a repair (due to the history) and that I want my money back. I am advised that legally I have a reasonably strong case, I guess the next few days will be interesting. I'll keep you all up to date... |

Offline | I am thinking about it too. Mine's been back about 6 times, it;s had a gearbox, sunroof, ECU, heater, radio, door locks, still pulls to the left and the gearbox and sunroof seem to be going again The windows failed to drop again the other as well. Loads of squeaks and rattles...Not impressed at all. A real shame. ![]() Jon Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it. --Mark Twain |
