Today a strange thing happened while braking lightly, it was like the abs kicked in! At first I thought sh*t my brakes have broken down. Realy scary, you suddenly loose braking force, for a moment I was thinking to use my handbrake. Later I realised it must have been the abs, because I could feel the brake pedal moving. When accelarating, also very gentle, the asc turned on a few seconds long, didn't make sense either.
Now everything works fine, like nothing happened. Anyone experencied this earlier?

I have the same problem on my 05 Cooper S (only done 600 miles!)
I have reported it to the dealer who "can find nothing wrong" I described it as a "twitter" as you can feel it through the pedal but it is not as strong as the full ABS kicking in.

I will be mentioning it again when it goes in to have the airbag light turned off !
