Scotland Driver & Passenger Windows - Opening by themselves

The driver and passenger windows drop about an inch by themselves?!? It normally happens when I go to unlock the car and get in. It has been happening too frequently now for my liking, and i'm just wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem with their windows.
Should really take it into the local MINI dealer for a check over...

For me it was just pressing the buttons too many times and the lock thinking I was holding the button down which would activate the comfort opening feature.

Do you mean they drop when you pull on the handle to open the door, or when you press the button on your remote to unlock the car

It's probably as Tymbre says then - just the comfort opening feature. You could get your dealer to disable it

Canada Opposite Problem

I've had the exact opposite problem. The convenience open won't work. The dealer tried reprogramming and is now doing their research (they have been very good so far so I have faith).

Any others with a similar problem?

Ours seems to be intermittent - sometimes it's fine, other times it doesn't work. I haven't been rigorous enough in my investigation, though, to see if it really is a problem or just operator error...
