Angry areo kit falling off. fitted by the enemy.

i got my aero kit fitted by mini about a year ago. i never really had a good look at how it was fitted. Accept for when it first came out of the shop one of the sides wasn’t on very well!?!?

Now i remember they said they were waiting for the clips. (Well I guess they never came).

In this picture below you can see the "gum" they used to fix in the aero kit? Is this what they mean by bmw/mini specialist keeping the warranty? Nice job. Notice the missing fittings to? There are 4 of them on the front grill alone. only 3 in place i think.

Is this the correct fitting clips? This is the other side. Can you see the gum again. Lovely.

Result... unflush falling off grill.

NEXT.... suspect side.... not hanging on very well anymore. lol.

Are these the correct clips? yes you can pull of my areo kit sills. well only the back bits. the gum must be holding very well at the other end!!!

Use this picture in the MINI2 forums:

Can somebody tell me if these are the correct fitting parts? Because on my bill it says they did. Did i get the correct parts from them??

What shall I due? im due for service this month... how shall tackle them? they obviously are poor dealer, should i go else where and claim it on the warranty, can i do this?

My sideskirts have gone like this too I keep pushing them back on. Also all the black paint on the front aerokit section has chipped off and is now electric blue underneath. Not good for a very expensive accessory.

MCS JCW EB/B 210 Bhp lots of extras!
