Service Engine Soon - oxygen sensor software update available

Had my 05 MCSa in the shop this morning for some unrelated work. At check out, the SA told me that an update for the service engine soon / oxygen sensor problem had been applied. The SA said this update had been released just yesterday, 30 June 2005.

I myself have not the SES light come on and have not had any problems with the o2 sensor so far. So for me, I guess it was a preventative software update.

Below are some of the details from my work order:
