Offline | Declaring Schnitzer suspension - Cost? Insurance looks like it’s going to cost me about £750 for Cooper S with chilli from mini.co.uk I know all the pro/cons of declaring mods etc; what I’m wanting to know however is has anyone on here insured with mini (or other) & declared AC schnitzer suspension (or similar- ie a moded susp) on the car? I’m wanting to get an idea of how much extra it costs you to declare it? -- Is it gunna be a lot! Hope not! |

Offline | Everything on the car is an optional extra according to the dealer & thus the car only has upgrades and nothing that isn't an official mini part!!! That's what i have been told by them, am going to contact insurance firms though as this is just the salesman & the manager guy trying to sell their car!!Can't see it been much more than £200ish...don't mind paying another £200ish tbh if that's what they want. But not sure what they'll say about price. |
