Cooper S/Works Insurance - MINI Cooper Forum

21, 2 years NCB, live in a nice area, should I be a little hopeful in getting insurance for around £1k or less on a standard S or S works?

Why don't you get a quote and find out? Insurance depends on a lot of factors.

I'm 22, also in a nice area, 3 years NCB, and I just got quoted £1300 (lowest quote so far) for a Works S, and about £800 for a standard S.

I'm also 22, nice area, 2 years no claims, 3 points... My MCS Works is costing me £1100 to insure (standard MCS would've been £900), courtesy of Greenlight.

minicore: I phoned greenlight today, and they said they'd only cover my works for up to £15k (when it'll be £20k) 'cos I'm under 25.

Do you have any mod's?

No, just the JCW conversion and some cosmetic stuff...
