Hello Guys,

I just got my full driving licence and I have a Mini Cooper S (I’m 24). Can you recommend a company that will insure me? So far I had no luck…..

Thanks in Advance

Try Elephant or Bell, they are both underwritten by Admiral,

I'm 19 with a MCS and i'm with Elephant, the only company that would insure me becuase of my age, you're 24 so shouldn't be too bad!

Welcome to the world of Mini

Good Luck. Try Adrian Flux they are supposed to be good. Try and stay away from Elephant or Admiral if you have lots of options they will only cover you for a basic cooper s £15000, and you have to quote all your modifications or they don't cover you in a case of a crash. Theres a large thread about them on this forum.

I hear that MINI insurance are good too. Have you tried Direct Line they are a stand up insurance company.

This is the reason I don't have a Cooper S until I'm 25+

Who was that with Gio?

I got a quote for £800 for a Cooper S with Tesco but I was with them before not a very good company.

with Elephant; no luck with direct line or tesco.

So far is the only quote; looks like I really don't have an option.
