Circumstances will be different but gives a good idea.

Hi, I've not got my mini yet, it's due to be delivered on 10th March!! However, I do have my best quote, just waiting for my reg now so I can purchase it.

Age: 21
Drives: 07 cooper s
Driving for: 3 years (as named driver on Mum's policy)
NCB: 0 years
Points/Caims: 3 points SP30 2 years ago

Location: B

Insurer: Quinn-Direct
Quote: 1575

Not bad I thought, took a lot of looking around, next best quote I got was from Bell who offered 1900. Much better than some of the other quotes I was getting, one crazy company (forget the name) offered insurance for something in the region of 22,000!!!!!! CRAZY!!!!

Firstly, I'm pretty shocked about my location letter (I take it F* is bad?). There's very little crime around here. It's a quiet area! Anyway, I've got a 1st generation Cooper with the JCW Sound Kit, which is insured, and I pay £970. Hopefully when I come to renew in July, it'll fall a bit because I'm 22 now (was 21 when I started the policy) and I'll have 1 year NCB (touch wood).

Now this is not who I am with, I'm a named driver on my dad's insurance, but I did a quote online today and apparently this is what I would be paying if I were the main driver. Oh with a £250 excess.

Is this a mistype! £360?! My details are

Ncb: 4 (protected)

Mine is twice as much as yours! and are details are mostly quite similar! Adrian Flux was my cheapest quote by about £100 as well. surely a modified s works should be more than an r56s.

Having said that, your insurance seems to be the lowest here. Any ideas why (other than mistype!)
