Offline | Insurance Renewal Time! This post is not intended as an advertisment. Yes it's that time of year for me - the dreaded insurance renewal. After receiving a scary renewal quote from Direct Line, I (as always) decided to shop around. Elephant was coming out on top - that was until I spoke to a very nice chap at Adrian Flux. I have full NCB with no convictions and am over 30! (car parked on drive etc) so I guess a pretty safe bet as far as insurance companies are concerned. My Car 2004 Cooper S JCW Full Aero Kit Optional Alloys JCW Brake upgrade All mods declared. Direct Line - £750 Elephant - £550 Adrian Flux - £450! and needless to say I will be renewing with them. Great price + great service = new AF customer! ![]() |

Offline | They do tend to earn a good reputation on here, we had insurance with them many years ago and they were good back then too. Elephant etc I'd steer clear of for the MINI, purely for their lack of like-for-like replacements in their T&Cs. There aint no party like my nana's tea party |

Offline | Exactly what the guy at AF said re the like for like replacements. I wasn't sure if he was just giving me the sales patter but obviously not. Glad they have a good reputation. Even more happy about my decision now! |

| Live life to the Mini | Insurance DON'T DO IT, yes they are cheaper but a NIGHTMARE when it comes to customer service, after 2 years with them, I can say it takes about 6 weeks to get set up (about 15 phone calls and reposting of all the data 4 or 5 times)! I'm not the only one it appears who has this problem. |
