| Live life to the Mini | Adrian Flux Does anyone else use Adrian Flux for their mini insurance? Just I have been with them for 2 years now and yes they have provided the cheapest quote but BOTH years I've had a nighmare with them saying they havn't received paperwork even tho I have sent it registered delivery and seen the signature of the person receiving it, I really really don't want to have to go through 6 weeks of hell for a 3rd year running. Is it just me being unlucky or are they always like this? Anyone recommend anyone else? Cheers T-y ![]() |

Offline | I currently use them, haven't had any problems up to now (touch wood )A bit worrying that they have lost stuff after they've received it, but ultimately that's their problem if you have proof of delivery ![]() |

| Live life to the Mini | Yes you'd think it was their problem wouldn't you, they threaned me with the sueing me as it was obviously my fault they had lost the documentation as I should have made sure they received it (??????). I would say that their customer service is *appaling*, not sure a low quote is worth the stress you go through, but was wondering if it was just me unlucky, but having read some old posts it would appear lots of you have the same issues with them. Oh and i did write and complain about their customer service their response 'well we can't please everyone, maybe you should consider go elsewhere, but we can confirm if you do we will charge you for the full years insurance'!!!! Nice! ![]() |

Offline | Hmm, if that was their attitute I would definitely be looking elsewhere They are just a broker at the end of the day so if they are still the cheapest maybe check who the policy is actually with and try and go direct (I think my policy is with Highway and they won't deal directly, but I'm sure others will, especially if you explain the situation) |

Offline | They've not lost any of my paperwork, but they did mix it up between myself and my girlfriend. I can see where the confusion came from though, we both drive Minis, live at the same address and took out insurance at the same time with both of us on each others insurance too! To be honest, yes it was a hassle, but it just took a phone call and a little explanation and it all got sorted out. For the savings over what I was paying Elephant it's not enough to put me off yet ![]() |

Offline | Im with them, the only paperwork they needed was proof of no claims, and the policy form, but surely if you were with them the previos year, they would already have the proof of no claims and the details of your car etc. |

Offline | I am with Adrian flux but as soon as my renewal comes round my business is going elsewhere. when I took out the policy I had a nightmare with them. They lost docments and nearly canceled my cover because of it. I also recieved documents for other customers demanding money which were bundled in with some of my documents. I started quoting data protection act to them and they seemed quite worried about that. I really hope that I don't have to make a claim. After several calls to them I just ask to speak to the supervisor now, the standard people were just useless |

| Amiga 500 to PS3 20 Years | I tried to get a quote from them this year but found that there online quote system wouldn't allow me to give them half the info I needed to on my car. I received a quote back but as most of the stuff for my car was not on there I decided to phone them. The answer phone message said they were closed for two weeks. WTF! What if I needed to make a claim? Anyway my insurance ran out before they reopened so I went back with AF. Maybe if they have improved next year I'll give them another go. At the moment it all seems a bit amateurish IMO. ![]() It was acceptable in the 80's |

Offline | Adrian Flux claimed not to have received my documents too! Thought it was strange seeing as how the proposal had been amended with some details I had written on the original proposal form I had returned to them though! I would have thought that in the 2nd year they wouldn't have needed any more paperwork if you were just re-newing though.![]() |

| Amiga 500 to PS3 20 Years | Yeah I've never needed to provide doc's when renewing. In fact when I changed my car from Cooper Works to Hartge Cooper S I didn't provide any doc's either. I suspect it may have to do with the actual insurer requiring the doc's rather than Adrian Flux. ![]() It was acceptable in the 80's |

| Live life to the Mini | Well it seems Adrian Flux have got wind of our complaints as I got a phone call from one of the managers saying they had seen my comments on here and was phoning to see if they could resolve the issues. They have promised to call me before my policy runs out and make sure I don'tt suffer the same fate again, so I'll keep ya posted. ![]() |
