Offline | Don't usually get too excited about insurance but just switched from MINI Insurance today as because I've made a few modsifications (Bluefin, Viper, Eibachs and OMP Strut brace) apparently it became a rip snorting modified MINI and belonged in a MAD MAX film, so they decided to up my policy by £180 and QUADRUPLE my excess from £150 to £600 ![]() . Considering I've got 9 years no claims is a bit steep.Anyway, a quick call to Adrian Flux and credit where it's due they managed to get a quote cheaper than MINI Insurance quoted for my standard MINI last year, didn't get at all fazed by modifications current or future, and were really helpful on the phone. So if your insurance is due, give them a call. |

![]() Skadoosh! | Looks like another vote for Adrian Flux here too. I've just had to call Bell because my insurance expires on Friday morning and I still haven't received their renewal quote. They claim it was sent out on November 6th. Anyway, glad I phoned because it turns out my premium is going up! I've got another year's no claims under my belt (making 2 years NCB now), turn 25 in March and yet my premium is going up! Even after the lady spoke to their pricing department they could only offer me an annual increase of £23 this year! ![]() So I phoned Adrian Flux, provided my details and they've given me a quote £106 cheaper than last year with Bell, and £129 cheaper than Bell this year. It's the cheapest quote I've had so it looks like I'm moving my policy to them on Friday morning. ![]() ![]() |

Offline | Our SCNM website is sponsored by Adrian Flux so we get a discount too when members take out policies with them. Have to say they are by far the cheapest ive ever used and even in the second year still good. Saved loads and they dont seem to increase my policy when I make mods to the car. |

| Back To My Old Self | Insurance due tommorrow, (comes round quickly doesn't it), and it looks like AF are most competitive again. Renewal premium has gone up by £50 though, which considering the policy is expactly the same is annoying. Have been with them 12 months and all contact with them, apart from paying the premium , has been a pleasure.![]() |

![]() Obsessive Car Cleaner OCC | Poor price for me! Ive been with them for a year now, last years policy was £100 a month which is huge anyway with me being young. They have now sent me a renewal and its increased by 25%, thats £125 per month they must think im stupid Admiral have came out on top this time and i was with them the previous year to this one with flux. Still £846 a year tho thats with 3 years no claims! |

| Back To My Old Self | My renewal premium inexplicably went up £50 after 12 months with them too. No one could explain why, apart from the inevitable annual hike by the insurance company. AF were still the cheapest though, but only if you pay as a lump sum. There monthly installments APR is a scandal and really shouldn't be allowed. Could probably get a better rate off the local loan shark! ![]() |

| \\ World Record Holder // | cheers to everyone who's posted - been doing loads of quotes this month for my policy which is due to be renewed on friday... for those who want to pay it monthly and are sick of paying silly APR's for the privilege, good old richard branson doesn't charge APR - and he's the cheapest that i've found so far as well (same price as Mini insurance and Churchill) so it looks like i'll be going with him! 24 years old 4 years ncb mcs cabrio £780 ![]() ![]() Guinness World Record Holder 'Largest Parade of MINI Cars' 28th March 2007 |

| Amiga 500 to PS3 20 Years | Just renewed my insurance with Adrian Flux and, in spite of everyone else I know having hikes in their premiums this year, mine is exactly the same as last year. I always phone around every year and always get the same story that no one can come close to matching Adrian Flux. ![]() It was acceptable in the 80's |
